Psychological assessments are powerful tools for gaining deeper insight into an individual’s strengths, challenges, and unique needs. By providing a clear understanding of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning, assessments help individuals and families access the right support services, educational accommodations, and therapeutic interventions. Beyond diagnosis, they serve as a bridge to valuable community resources, empowering individuals to thrive in school, work, and daily life.

Providing support for parents, children and adolescents

Many parents have questions about their children. They want to know how their child learns, what barriers they face, and what services and interventions are most helpful. We select the tools, gather the data, and write a detailed and comprehensive report. This will help you advocate for school and community support to improve your child’s social and academic experience.

Providing answers for adults

Our neurodiversity-affirming assessments for adults provide a comprehensive and respectful exploration of unique strengths and challenges, often focusing on ADHD, autism, and related factors. These evaluations consider broader aspects of psychological well-being, ensuring a holistic understanding that fosters self-awareness and personal growth. Our approach celebrates diversity and emphasizes practical, supportive recommendations tailored to individual needs.

Assisting schools and agencies

When school districts are understaffed or struggling with programming for specific situations, we can provide support with assessments, consultations, and behavior plans to enhance the learning environment and the student’s experience.

We can also provide specialized assessments for issues such as inappropriate sexual behaviors, violence risk, and fire-setting risk. We have worked with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDS), and residential treatment centers.

Specialized Risk Assessments

As a member of CATSO and ATSA, Dr. Roginsky is competent in the assessment of harmful and inappropriate sexualized behaviors in children and adolescents. She is also training in firesetting and violence risk assessments.
